We have collated all of our items that are available to hire onto one handy page. We loan to both our customers and businesses throughout Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.

We are happy to hire with or without flowers for weddings, events and parties. Whilst we have a good range of items already we are always on the look out for new and exciting props. Get in touch if you don’t see what you are looking for. All prices include VAT at 20%. All prices quoted are for individual items, with the exception of our ‘pair of chairs’ which are priced as a pair.

Please note that some items may be shown in more than one category. We do not own this twice it is because the item overlaps into more than one category. Terms and conditions apply to all hire orders, which can be found at the bottom of the page.

    Persephone Violet Prop Hire Terms And Conditions

    • We do not exercise a minimum hire amount. You may hire as many or few of our items as you wish and with or without flowers. Please ask for a quotation to include flowers.
    • All items are to be collected from our Malmesbury based Shop unless delivery is agreed.
    • Collection and returning of the hired items is the responsibility of the hirer but does not have to be by the hirer.
    • Standard hire is for a period of four working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
    • We do not accept item returns on Sundays (unless otherwise agreed).
    • All items will be clean and ready to use when hired out and we except them to returned in the same condition they were hired out in. Any items returned dirty will incur a cleaning charge. We are happy to organise the cleaning of your items for you for an additional fee of 20% of the hire cost.
    • We expect the items to be packaged and returned in the same way they were collected. All original packaging needs to be returned dry and not damaged.
    • All items are signed out and signed back in. We request you let us know of any missing or damaged on return of the items.
    • All containers, bases, metal work and mechanical methods of creating displays are hired from Persephone Violet
    • A refundable hire deposit is required when hiring items from Persephone Violet. The hire deposit amount is based upon the quantity of items hired to the client. The hire deposit is refunded in full upon the return or collection of the hired items in their original state. Collecting items can be arranged for a fee. All items must be returned to Persephone Violet within 2 working days of the wedding.
    • Any items broken or damaged during the wedding will be deducted from the hire deposit at full retail value. If the hire deposit is not sufficient to cover the loss or damage a further invoice for the additional amount will be issued which is outlined in the above document for each item.
    • Persephone Violet is not responsible for any damage or injury caused by broken glass, floral materials or other items/services supplied by Persephone Violet.
    • Not all of our items are stored in the shop – if you would like to view an item in person please contact us in advance of coming to the shop.
    • Delivery is costed at £1.00 per mile from SN169AU to the delivery address. Drop off and collecting the items are priced separately. We have the ability to deliver all items. You are more than welcome to collect – please make sure you have a suitable vehicle for the items you are hiring some are very large and will not fit comfortably in a car.
    • Payment is expected in full prior to collection. Invoices should be settled no later the two weeks prior to the start of the hire agreement.
    • If you need to cancel your order, ensure we are notified within 4 weeks of the wedding/event otherwise 100% of the hire charge will be retained.

    Advanced notice of temporary closure

    Due to a large scale event our retail shop will be closed on the following dates and we will not be accepting any orders online or in store during this time. 

    Thursday 18th April CLOSED, Friday 19th April CLOSED, Saturday 20th April CLOSED, Tuesday 23rd April CLOSED, Wednesday 24th April 10-5pm business as usual. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
