Order Flowers Online
We try and make ordering flowers as simple as possible for you. You can call us on 01666 823914 to order a bouquet or floral arrangement or order online here. Some customers have questions (naturally) and cannot always reach us – the beauty of an online shop means that you can order even when our physical shop door is closed. As we cannot be on hand always to answer queries here are some of the frequently asked questions.
How much should I spend?
Everyone has a budget in mind, which is influenced by the reason for sending the gift and where it is going to be displayed. Size of gesture and therefore size of design is a good place to start. A classic design (£30-45) is suitable to sit on a bedside table, a signature design (£45-60) is suitable for a coffee table and a deluxe design (£60-£120+) is suitable for a dining room table.
I don’t have a clue about flowers what should I order?
You don’t need to have a good knowledge of flowers to make an order – that is why we are here! A florist choice bouquet is always a mixture of the very best seasonal blooms arranged in the Persephone way which removes the need to make a choice. Just pick a size and a card message and we will take care of the rest.
What shall I write on the card?
It depends on the occasion in which the flowers are being sent for. Here are a few of our favourite generic messages that could work for lots of occasions.
- Lots of love from
- Thinking of you
- Have the best birthday
- Congratulations on your promotion!
- You make me smile
- I’m sorry – you are always right
- Birthday love!
- I hope these brighten your day
- Just because …
- Because I love you!
- Sorry to hear you are unwell
- Beautiful blooms for a beautiful lady
- Congratulations to you both
Can I send anything other than flowers?
Absolutely! We also have a range of plants on the website for collection or delivery, as well as our Persephone Blooms. Alongside these we also have a range of gift cards, cutting garden scent candles, vases and containers and the most exquisite chocolates made in the UK by the hugely talented Davenports Chocolatiers.
What information do you need in order to place an order online or over the phone?
We need the recipients full name and address as well as contact number if this is possible. A card message, an approximate budget (if ordering on the phone) and preferred date for delivery.
I have a specific design that I would like to send – this isn’t on the website can you do this?
Yes! We love being creative and relish a challenge to design something bespoke. Get in touch with our florist team and we will be happy to help. We can also take requests for specific botanicals, as long as they are seasonal and we have some notice to source them.
Do you deliver to the address I want the flowers to go to?
We deliver ourselves within a 12mile radius approx. from our Malmesbury shop in all directions. If we do not deliver ourselves, we will still accept the order and will have this delivered via our third party fragile freight couriers with a next day delivery service. Our courier service is available Tuesday to Friday and the order must be received the day before delivery prior to 11.30am.
The website only allows you to pay via PayPal and I don’t have an account how do I pay?
PayPal is a very secure method of payment which is why we have chosen this for our website. You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to process your order payment with them and instead can just use it as a guest to input your payment information and finalise your order with Persephone Violet.
I’d like the bouquet to be in a vase readily arranged to just go straight on the side can you do this?
We would be delighted to include a vase with your bouquet. You can choose from our range of vases online under the Glassware tab. All are suitable for bouquets of any size. This also removes the need for excessive packaging making this an eco friendly option. We would be delighted to refill this vase with beautiful blooms time after time!
What happens if the recipient isn’t home?
We will try to leave the flowers with a neighbour, where possible, if the recipient isn’t home. If we cannot find a neighbour to take them, we will leave the flowers in a safe place (weather and location permitting). If we do not feel that there is safe to leave them, we will return them to the shop and try to redeliver once more. After this the recipient will need to collect their flowers from our Malmesbury shop. Regardless which option we choose when the recipient isn’t home a card is always left for them to contact us and to let them know what has happened with their delivery.
